OUR SEMI INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM
Daviola Care Limited offers Semi Independent Living, in our specialist 24 hour staffed homes for young people aged 16 -26 years old.
We can cater for young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
We are currently able to provide support for young people across the UK working in partnership with all major Local Authorities based on individually designed packages of care, support, and housing.
WHAT WE MEAN BY CARE & SUPPORT
If you need care, you have our dedicated support workers who will look after you and provide for your needs.
If you require support, they will also help you to develop your skills with the aim of eventually being able to manage task independently.

MISSION STATEMENT
Daviola Care is a specialist social care provider. We are recognised nationally for the robust work we do alongside children services, the bespoke service options we offer, and our outcome focussed Semi-independent living provisions.
At Daviola Care we support young people with their independent living skills, education, training, housing etc. Additionally, we can work with and support young people who have high support needs and are often considered hard to place due to the high risk associated and their vulnerabilities.
Our mission is to support societies most vulnerable young people to effect a positive change in their lives, eventually empowering them to go on to make a positive contribution, enjoy and achieve and ultimately to self-actualise as adults.
As we are experts in safeguarding, care, and protection, and renowned for our preventive risk management plans, we are confident that we can offer the support and care creating an environment where young people are able to feel safe, valued, cared for, and thrive.
However, we recognise that for this to happen we need to continue to adapt the prevention is better that cure approach, where we often take a preventative stance as appose to re-active one. As a result, we aim to support young people to experience a more positive outcomes and way of life. We do this by proactively challenging anti-social behaviours such as:
-Involvement with criminal justice system
-Anger and Aggression
-Self harm
-Peer group interactions
-Challenge behaviour, etc.
We at Daviola Care recognise respectfully that young people can often be hard to reach, stubborn therefore we support them to reflect on their behaviours to understand and identify what they did or did not do, how they could do it different to achieve a different outcome.
We believe using such tolls will allow the space for us as support workers to safeguard and provide the assistance needed to manage one’s well-being, productivity, community involvement, ambitions, interest.
Our aim is to work with young people to gain the life skills needed to build the foundations for confidence building, independent living, and positive engagements.

CLIENTS WE SUPPORT
We provide support services in our shared housing or self-contained homes for young people in the care system and care leavers with challenging behaviour, self-Harm, borderline personality disorders, learning disabilities, sexuality harmful & sexualised behaviours, suicidal tendencies, risk of sexual exploitation and substance Misuse.
We are also able to support local authorities with single placements where young people require such settings.
Our Semi-independent settings are all holistic with support sevices for young people between 15-18 years of age, we offer a positive environment where young people’s unique qualities, strengths and abilities are properly recognised. We support young people to develop their independent living skills, learn about themselves and even
ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodations are maintained to very high standards with free access to wireless internet connection and satellite TV. All bedrooms in our homes are fully furnished. Our homes also benefit from large lounge / meeting area, communal kitchen / diner and landscaped gardens.
Daviola Care provides fully staffed high quality assured accommodation for young people aged 15 years and over from various local authorities.
All our homes are fitted with essential recreational amenities and equipment, where we aim to create a safe environment for vulnerable young people; where they can call home, they are free to express their individuality, grow and develop.
Our current homes offer 24-hour support: At Daviola Care we provide a homely dedicated 24-Hour Units for males and females who are leaving care and are assessed to be in need of additional support to develop their independent living skills.
We are also able to support young people who may have additional needs and are considered to be engaging in risk taking behaviour where we support them to identify and manage these risk.
All our young people have their own lockable room and share the house facilities i.e., kitchen bathroom, lounge area.
Depending on the need of the young person an agreed allocation of 1-2-1 support is offered from a dedicated keyworker that works individually with them on their support plan.
The keyworker supports the young person to engage with education/vocation work or training.
They will support the young person with independence and life-skills, budgeting and provide a monthly report that covers the 5 key outcomes of Every Child Matters outcome, additionally any breaches of curfew/tag absences are reported to the host Emergency Duty Team (EDT).
Emergency Accommodation: Daviola Care operate a 24 Hour Out of Hours service. We can accommodate and facilitate placements on an EDT basis.
All placements made through this service are required to be accommodated in a 24-Hour setting pending assessment.

STAFF TEAM
The staff team consist of like-minded individuals who act as a positive role model, who are dedicated, empathetic, and experienced in working with young people. All staff have a passion to influence change in the next generation and believe young people can be anything they want to with the right advice, support, and guidance.
We have a carefully chosen staff team which includes social workers, keyworkers, ex-housing officer and support workers who have knowledge and experiences of working with young people. All working together to achieve one goal of successfully equipping young people with the life skills needed to move forward and make positive contribution in accordance with Every Child Matter outcome (2004).
Our highly skilled staff not only aim to meet the developmental needs of each young person in our care, but using individual care assessment, daily support, mentoring, and restorative practice techniques. We also strive to explore and address each young person’s unique and individual needs. We seek to improve outcomes through comprehensive support planning which will take place with the local authority, bespoke key-working and mentoring programmes, which are designed to assist our young people in achieving their goals and aspirations.
